Can’t wait for it to be 2012 :)

Casted on a few minutes past midnight. And had some hours knitting before I had to go to bed. I guess the garter stitch section can be a bit long - but it is great TV knit!

Had to fix two dropped stitches and got help from this Video

Square done - used 133 grams (706 meters!! No wonder I thought the garter stitch part would never end!) and have 175 grams yarn left. Square measures 62cmx62cm already big and UNBLOCKED (!)

83 grams of yarn left when starting the knitted on edging.

I struggled with understanding the corner stitches on the knitted on edging. On row 2 and 6 I ended each row with yarn over, k2tog, knit 1 (instead of yarn over, k2tog, k2tog). SO I didn’t touch the stitch from the square. In this way I managed to only knit 2 stitches from the square instead of 4 - as stated in the pattern.

I figured out it is 196 repeats of the knitted on edging. If I were to knit without any breaks it will take me 16 hours. I really hope the color of this shawl is in Evas likings…

26 grams left. Started with 306 so 280 grams used.
