Notes

Ok here goes. I have only tried toe-up socks once before and ended up frogging them. I kept some of my notes from my first try.

These are my first toe-up socks! I find the pattern easy to read and I had no problems understanding it.

Norsk sokkedille (norwegian sock madness in a way) is giving a mini class for toe-up knitting. And Pinneguri (designer of this pattern) is helping toe-up virgins to knit toe-up socks with links and videoes. Thank you so much! I am having so much fun and it looks like I will make it this time!

I did 9 wraps and turns. And my sock was 19.4cm long before heel.

Changed to 2.25 needles for the ribbing.
A normal bind of was not a good idea - I couldn’t get the socks on my foot because of it :)

Used sewn bind-off and changed to 3mm needles for the last row of ribbing.

It made a world of difference to change the bind-off method.
