My angel (or partner in yarncrime) saved my weekend and was willing to give these barbie beauties a good home :)

Row 1 - Knit
Row 2 - Knit
Row 3 - K1, KFB, K1, KFB, K1
Row 4 - Knit

No purl stiches so far :) I am holding yarn in front when I am slipping stitches.

Larger size medium - stop at 303 stitches total and begin lace boarder. This size is not in the pattern.
After row 6 in the chart i had 303 stitches.

I am really strugling with what color to use on the boarder. I don’t want white, and not the skandal um rosi. But thinking about black or fuchsia…. What to do?!

When I was born I was handed very few barbie gens - so I went for black edging. I was thinking that the black would somehow fade the pink out in a way - and I know I will not wear a barbie shawl.

I am very happy with my choice.

185+1+185=371 stitches total for bind of. Did not do the purl bind of but an ordinary k2tog through back loop.

Difficult to get the bright pink out on pictures.

This was supposed to be my shawl! I never get to keep shawls for my self - and this time my daughter begged and almost ran out of the door with “MY” Ulmus…
