I’m using the Leaves in Relief chart from Ariel Barton’s sweater to make a lovely wedding pillow for my niece.

The chart for this was crazy-making, especially since I was working flat & had to cable both the right & wrong sides. No chance of memorizing much but the single stitch cables & I had to constantly double-check which side I was working on.

Finally done -- put together with some wool fabric I had to back it. I’m not thrilled with how the pillow form fills it out, but it’s adequate. I had about 2 yards of yarn left from my three skeins -- phew! I put Khalil Gibran’s passage On Marriage with it, and it was received with love & gratitude. :)
