These are plain vanilla socks that show off the gorgeous self-striping effect. Much to my delight, I was able to make virtually identical socks.

The heel is the Fish Lips Kiss Heel, and I knitted it with separate yarn from the other end of the ball so as not to interrupt the striping on the foot and leg of the sock.

I knit these sock toe-up starting with Judy’s Magic Cast On and the “shaped rounded toe” from Chrissy Gardiner’s book on toe-up socks.
