This is a really great pattern to use for those hand-painted yarns that pool and flash because the reverse stockinette minimized those effects. The yarn I used isn’t hand-painted, but ragg, which also looks nice in reverse stst.

Reverse stockinette? Who wants to do all that purling?!?!?!? The designer, Holly, solved that by knitting the mitts inside out. When you finish the mitt, you turn it inside out and, voila! You have reverse stst with out all the purling.

I followed the directions without modifications.
