I just don’t like the colors in this yarn… Maybe striped with another (solid) color could make it less of an eyesore.

Leg: CO 64 sts. k2tbl, p2 ribbing for 15 cm.

Heel: Heel flap made with half of the stitches continuing the ribbing for 30 rows (on the wrong side knit the knit stitches normally but purl the purl stitches through the back loop). French heel (14+4+14 sts). Pick up 16 sts along the edges and knit all around.

I’ll be knitting these basic socks as part of “KyJy 2013”.
