I love the way photos of this shawl really do make it look like seafoam from cresting waves breaking on the shore. The beginning is pretty fast but a bit boring (90 rows of stockinette), but I’m excited to almost be at the lace point after just a few days of knitting, and then I should have it complete soon after that!

Wow, that picot bind-off took FOREVER to finish (600+ stitches to complete!) but it looks fantastic. Very much an elemental shawl, in this blue it is totally evocative of the water’s edge. Great design, Mindy! :)
