Update June 2023: I love love love the look of the original pattern but with these similar variegated wools and connected needles I repeatedly lost my location in the pattern and had to keep pulling back lines, stumped as to where I was and what I was supposed to be knitting. Also this wool is way too hot for a summer knit. Frogged, may try again another time with either one variegated and one solid, or making extremely detailed notes about what row and repeat I am on. Completely frustrated, maybe it’s time for some mittens instead.

Bought one ball of blue-green Noro Ito at Beehive Wool Shop in Victoria BC in July 2022. May use multiple balls of purple-green Noro Silk Garden for contrast colour.
5.5 needle, CO 6 sts to begin.
