Due to heinously long shipping times from Georgia to Canada, I missed the deadline to kick off my own knit-along for Amy’s little cardigan. Ran into Christmas knitting deadlines in late December, but finally started it on Christmas Day in upstate New York while traveling to visit partner’s family. Finished the lower edging pattern by Dec 28th.

June 12: Starting up again after a long hiatus. What an amazing design this is, and such a great use of 400yds of yarn.

June 28: Okay, so it REALLY didn’t have to take me 6 months to finish this! Sheesh.

Finished with about 15g of yarn leftover.

Used almost no mods: I did change the knit stitch on the front where the sideways panel grows a new toothy edge, to prevent the incongruous line of stockinette Vs from showing.

Wish I had read more notes from other folks re: the extreme difference in size of the YOs if you follow the chart as written for the centre panel. My left panels look open and match the lower lace, but my right side is all scrunchy.

Blocking, as usual, works wonders. Now my Watershed looks like it will sit properly on me, instead of being fit for only a munchkin. Blocked size = 22” long x 39” wide. I reckon this will be smaller when I put it on tomorrow, but that’s the size with a tape measure tonight. :)
