One sock done, 1/4 into next sock. Needle broke, still just usable, need to buy some better equipment :s

Back on track, knitting happily around the leg.

Tried on after 2.5 rounds of right leg spiral and now too tight to fit over heel. Ripping back to joining point and adding some more length before joining, now more like 9.5in.

Definitely most enjoyable socks I’ve ever tried, love going round and round and picking up the sts. This yarn is also very exciting. Much longer colour repeats than I expected, but really like the patchwork effect.

A little confused about a couple of things.
Where pattern says ‘Work even as set’ I’m guessing I continue slipping the first stitch of each row.
Where pattern says ‘until piece measures’ I’m guessing it’s from cast on edge, not just from where this instruction begins.
