Beautiful colour yarn but unfortunately pilled with use.

3mm needles to get gauge.

Cute pattern - wouldn’t try this one if you were a complete beginner as the thumb is not written out with overly much detail and could be tricky.

Modifications:

Knitted purl sts in thumb as I like that look better

Didn’t quite understand increasing instructions for thumb so did as follows

Worked pattern up to ‘starting thumb gusset’

Then did lace patterns row 1-11 increasing on rows 1, 4,6, (didn’t knit a row 8), 9 ,11 (10 sts increased)

Then did the ‘move the 15 thumb sts’ row which was a little tricky

Then did lace rows 13-16, knitting the last 5 sts of each row

Then lace rows 1-8

Then 2 knit rows

Then 3 rib rows
