Have made three of these now.

#1 Grey - For Nat & Steve

Made size 38 to compensate for less thick yarn.

Start with 4 rows garter st

Great pattern, turns out lovely.

A little tricky to keep trick of rows in knitting the two fronts.

Quite a lot of grafting and seaming but actually enjoyed this process now I have learnt how to properly do invisible seams and the pattern of grafting.

Would make again with a couple of changes:

Chose to graft the sleeves as other projects had suggested - this worked fairly well but has a bit of a ‘stepped’ approach because of the gradual cast-off. Would probably just not shape the sleeves in future if I was grafting.

Cast off a little more loosely next time.

#2 Green - Sian & Tom - Spencer

Made size 38 to compensate for less thick yarn.

Same as #1 except project except excluded the stepped sleeves for a much smoother approach. Have no idea what’s actually best for a baby’s arms though.
