Notes

I picked the yarn for its color and price, since this is just a small experimental project. I wanted to switch colors more often than they changed on their own, so I rolled it into several balls by color.

I used crochet to add spines on its back and trim around its tail, but otherwise stuck with knitting.

Dracobunicorns, rather than using camouflage, depend on bright warning coloration to let potential predators know their skins are poisonous. A predator attempting to eat one finds it like dining on a salad of pop rocks and stinging nettles. Few creatures attempt to eat a dracobunicorn more than once.
