These are being made for the Harry Potter Knitting & Crochet House Cup May ‘09 Charms Class. I’ve always wanted to make a pair of earrings like this after seeing Luna’s and now I finally have the motivation to actually follow through!

I’m greatly changing the scale of this ‘radish’ by using crochet thread instead of worsted weight yarn but it’s still super cute, if not more cute!

05.04.09 : Alright, one earring done! I kinda winged the leafy part cause I was not skilled enough to do it correctly…I actually stitched it down so that it wouldn’t be all floppy. Also, since it’s an earring I only made one leaf instead of two. I think it turned out cute nonetheless.

05.08.09 : All done! So cute! The second one came out a little different but I think it makes it look more organic looking, haha.

Will hopefully add a picture of the pair this weekend.
