Knitting matching hats for my co-workers - baby shower on March 10!

First Hat
I’m getting 5 sts/inch on US 4s and like the fabric I’m getting. Will cast on 80 sts with US 3s to get the hats started.

Cast on 3/3/2016 but found the hat was turning out too small. I’m also finding the yarn a bit dense, so don’t want to knit it too tightly. Ripped and re-cast on with US 4s, with a plan to bump up to US 5s when I get to the body of the hat.

Finished first hat 3/7/2016. The colors moved from icy greenish to light blue to pale leaf green to greenish yellow to light brown. Pretty and pastel. 41 g / 77 yards out.

Second Hat
Cast on the second hat 3/7/2016. I’m hoping it will look pretty similar. Finished 3/8/2016. 44 g / 82 yards out.

85 g and 158 yards total
