I used a total of 115 g of yarn - 111 g of the Midnight Meadows and 4 g of some leftover Emerald over Charcoal for the bind-off. I calculate that is 402 yards, or 1.15 skeins (based on 350 yards/skein, as opposed to 370 yards/skein).

This was a really enjoyable knit. I tend to knit large shawls for myself, so whipping up a little lace shawl for a gift was quite fun!

11/14/2010: Travel knitting for a weekend away at the coast. Got two full repeats of the lace (Chart B) done in one weekend.

11/18/2010: Third repeat done. I am really enjoying this knit. I am also really excited to be knitting a single skein shawlette project. Too small for me to wear, but awesome to knit!

11/23/2010: Fourth repeat done, and on to the Leaf Lace Border chart. Per weight, I’m 75% through my yarn. Per the triangular shawl calculator, I am 77% through the pattern. Hoping this trend holds!

11/24/2010: Done! As I had feared, and as had the others who knit this shawl in Sundara sock yarn, I ran out of yarn. I had to shorten the edging by taking out rows 5 & 6 from the final chart and I cast off with a different color of yarn. The cast off took me 4 g of yarn, and I had 2 g of the original color left over.
