I was looking for a little lace project that would take one skein of sock yarn (since I had this luscious yarn in my stash) and would be ideal for summer travel knitting. This pattern fit the bill quite nicely. It was a knitting project that I picked up and worked on occasionally, so it took awhile. I used the Sundara Yarn Love Lace Knit-and-Crochet-along to encourage me to finish it up.

The lace pattern was fairly easy to memorize once I learned how to read the portion I’d already knit (the changing direction of the yarnovers made this a little more complicated than I was used to), but it was also fairly easy to miss a yarnover and not catch it for 12 rows.

Post-blocking, it measured 82 inches long by 6.5 inches wide, with a little flare in the width at each end.
