Kept forgetting the second increase in the brioche section at the end of the row so took it out to work again. Also blocked my colour A yarn as it was skill quite kinked up from the last time it was knit.

I’m chugging along in Section 3 right now.

A: Swamp Thing BFL 2-ply handpaint
B: Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light in Rose
C: Koigu PPPM in P618, mauve speckle & Reynolds Whiskey in 31 Grain
D: Knit it up Shiny Toes in Like Water for Chocolate

The Koigu is a really great fit into my existing palette, but there likely isn’t enough left for the whole shawl, so I’m going to swap in the Whiskey now & again to compensate.

After talking about this mystery shawl with a friend for a week or two, I dug around in my lace yarn stash & realised I had enough decent yarn combos to make 3 versions of this shawl. I deliberated over email with her & ended up really liking the swampy mauve combo & got to work.
