I used crocheted provisional cast ons when starting each point because casting on and picking up stitches seemed silly to me.

Knitting the last point was the least fun. I think knitting around stuffing distorted it a bit. Next time I think I’ll knit the point separately and graft it to the rest of the star. Yes, I’m that kind of crazy.
