This yarn started off as a Print 'O' The Waves Stole but after frogging and re-knitting too many times, I realised I really didn’t have enough yarn to complete the stole. It would have ended up a very lovely, hand-painted cashmere hankerchief.

So I switched patterns to the Icarus Shawl. I had to only complete 3 repeats of Chart 1 and reduced Chart 4 by 2 rows to conserve yarn, but was able to make it work for the yarn that I had.
