Used Twisted German/Old Norwegian cast on instead of long tail. Tried it on bamboo dpns at first, confirmed that I really, really hate dpns, so holding off until I can get a circular.

01 Jan 2013 - Finished the first mitt. Casting on for the second. Homespun is being terrible to work with, but I like the effect in the fair isle. It’s a subtle look, and the Homespun floats make for warm, soft, fluffy bits around the palm and wrist.

Yarn estimates are slightly rounded up, and account for generous ends to weave in, but no swatch.

Reversed the cast on stitch and k2tog over the thumb join on the second mitt into ssk and cast on stitch so the gloves are mirror images.
