10/6/2016 received pattern download from designer, choosing yarn -- calls for 1450 yds laceweight merino
Swatched with Findley but do not like the result.
Practiced pattern with Pride Lace…much better result
10/10/2016 downloaded tech edited version of pattern;
finished lace pattern swatch; cast off on size 5 needle using JSSBO. Cast on and finished set up chart; ready to start repeat and increase chart tomorrow!
10/11/2016 finished one repeat of increase chart today. Relatively easy lace repeat.
10/12/2016 finished one and a half repeats of increase chart
10/16/2016 worked approximately 26 hours total and completed almost 5 repeats of the increase chart.

10/31/2016 Just finished repeat 11 -- getting ready to start the three top section charts. I have each section on a separate magnetic board with a magnet to keep my place. Definitely not travel knitting!

68.25 hrs total -- 8 hrs for rep 11; used 142 grams total -- 1243 yds
11/3 really slow going right now -- too many other commitments -- and we are out of town till Monday.
But I will be done before 11/15!!!
11/7 finished rows 1-48 of ending chart -- 8.75 hours -- 77 hours total
Kept knitting this evening…completing rows 49-57 in 2.5 hours…so revised totals are 11.25 hours for ending chart and 79.5 hours total.
11/8 Row 58 is VERY intense! Over 40 minutes to complete. Have to take breaks after each row. Rows 59-63 2:23 hrs. Taking a little longer break to let my eyes rest!
Ended the day finishing row 69 -- 5.25 hrs of knitting.

Started the crocheted bindoff -- using the chart on page 7, Full Top Ending Chart, is helpful. It took me 30 minutes to work across 2 pattern repeats but I think it should go faster tomorrow.
11/12/2016 FINISHED -- she is soaking in a cool bath right now!
The final crocheted edging took 2.25 hours total and 4 grams of yarn.
Ending chart stats: 24.75 hrs
Total knitting time: 94 hours -- this time does not include pattern pondering, yarn winding, soaking, blocking and myriad other related activities.
Just spent over an hour blocking.
