Cute swingy A-line sweater pattern -- very well written top down pattern — worked well with Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool

1/24/2018 swatched using Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool -- blocked very aggressively and got 18-19 sts in 4” swatch so I think this yarn will work.
8/30/2018 tired of making shawls and stoles -- need to work on a garment! Cast on XL because my gauge is a tiny bit off. Love the cables!
9/7/2018 finished A-line increases. Body measures 12” from underarm; pattern calls for 14.5” to start of hemline; 17” total length. The length on Dirty Martini is 18” and seems about right so I will work to 15.5” before starting hemline.
9/11/2018 no knitting on trip to SB county!
Started hemline at 16” length from armhole.
9/12 castoff using JSSBO
9/13 doubled the rows on the front/neck border to 14 rows -- cast off using JSSBO
picked up sleeve sts on 24” circ -- finished sleeve cap short rows -- starting sleeve body in the round using 2 16” circs
9/16/2018 finished the right sleeve -- started cuff at row 161 (14.5”) -- ended at row 190 (18” total.)
9/19/2018 finished the left sleeve using 2 24” circulars — much easier than using 16” circs

Modifications:

• Increased body length to 16” before starting hemline

• increased front/neck border to 14 rows

• Shortened the sleeve length to 18” total; started the cuff at 14.5”; worked 3.5” cuff
