9/18/2018 received pattern and yarn today
9/19/2018 Cast on -- starting with white
9/20/2018 as the gradient color changes to light gray, ouch, looks a little like “dirty” white but evens out as the color deepens
Finished small body chart repeats A B A B A — used 28g — 140 yds
9/21/2018 Finished medium body chart repeats B A — used 23g — 115 yds (51g — 255 yds total)
Finished border chart C — used 11g -- 55 yds (62g -- 310 yds total)
9/22/2018 working chart D -- each 4 row repeat uses 5-6g
9/24/2018 worked 8 complete repeats of Chart D -- have only 9g left -- started bind off with size 8 needles but it looks too loose and is using way too much yarn.
Tinked bind off and 2 rows of Chart D.
Finished Chart D at 7 full repeats plus additional rows 1 and 2 -- have 12 grams left -- used 39g -- 195 yds (101g -- 505 yds total total)
Restarted bind off on size 7 needle (wood Harmony) -- looks much better.
9/25/2018 finished bind off -- have 5 grams left!
9/28/2018 miles to Maridee

bind off used 7g -- 35 yds
shawl used 108g -- 540 yds

In hindsight, I could have kept the last two rows of Chart D but would have been playing yarn chicken with the bindoff on the size 7 needles. I would not have had enough yarn to complete the bindoff using size 8 needles.
