Notes

I loved the polka dot look of this stocking pattern as soon as I saw it last year. I finally decided to start it because I was having a little Christmas in July celebration (by myself) and wanted to work on a Christmas-y project. I will probably bring this to the fair, but after that I’m not sure if I’m keeping it or giving it away.
I did not fasten off the white at the end of every row. I didn’t want to deal with all those ends. I carried it along the back behind one of the single crochet rows to get it back to the end it need to be at.
I also was able to modify this so I didn’t have to sew on the foot part. I still fastened off at the end of the leg segment, but then I started the foot with 9 foundation sc (fsc), sk first 9 st, sc in middle 18 st, 9fsc, leaving last 9 st unworked.
Added a loop at the top for hanging. 2 rows of 10 sc.
