Gauge was 9 sts = 1 in. The foot is just the right size for me (but my feet are a little smaller than average) but it is too tight in the leg. The pattern called for a gauge of 7 sts = 1 in, so I’ll go up a needle size or two, but might cut down the number of sts in the foot.

Cast on 24 sts with turkish cast on (12 on each needle)
Increase 4 sts every round to 40 sts (kfb on first st, kfb on second to last st of each needle)
Increase every other round to 60 sts.
Knit until have 7.5 inches.
Used the double-stitch short row heel.
Knit about 4 inches after the heel.
Work increase row: On back side of sock, k14, m1, k until 14 sts remain, m1.
Repeat increase row every 10 rounds until there are 76 sts total.
Knit until 15.5 inches from bottom of heel (pattern calls for 14 in)
Work 2x2 ribbing for 3 inches (pattern calls for 2 inches).
Bind off loosely using EZ’s sewn bind off
