I improvised a hat pattern for my son. Cast on 96 and then changed the colors in a large color block style. I started with the white then changed to yellow and ended with blue as my son instructed me to. :)

Just have to make the perfect yellow pom pom for the top!

Notes about the yarn: The softest merino I have knit with in a very long time. It’s got a lovely twist, slightly lofty but perfect tension. The stitch definition is LOVELY. Again… softest yarn I have knit with in a very long time. As soft as cashmere.
