This is a test knit for Dani’s new pattern, Raindrop. My kids are into knitted hats this season so I am having fun knitting them hats this year.

Alixe absolutely loves this hat and it this style is adorable on her.

I knit the child size in the sport weight. I chose the extreme gnome version. I love how it looks. It’s a very fun knit and easy to make. The lateral braid gives the brim of this hat a nice clean finish and I used the double decrease bind off to give it a nice supple edge. The hat fits like a glove.
