Feb 29 - cast at knit night. Decided to use 4mm needles with the Sokkusu. 4.5mm was too loose. Made good progress the first week nthe first few stripes of CC go by fast.

Mar 5 - still enjoying this pattern. It’s very easy to memorize and I like giving myself the goal of knitting at least one stripe a day if I can. Hoping to get Ina second one tonight…starting my eighth CC stripe tonight.

Jun 30- finally cast off! I absolutely love this shawl. The drape of the Sokkusu is amazing. This yarn is absolutely fabulous in garter stitch.

A few notes:

I only knit 11 of the CC in Summer Crush. For the bottom triangle in HB#2 I knit 22 garter ridges and had just enough yarn to cast off using 9mm needles so that I would have a nice stretchy edge. The edge is perfect. I used a classic cast off method.
