Making a load of these for Christmas ornaments.

I changed the stem to be a bit more teardrop shaped:
CO 6 on one 3.0mm needle, leave about 3 inch yarn tail
row 1: k6 -- join in round
row 2: kfb all sts (12 sts)
row 3: (k2, kfb)x6 (18sts)
row 4-8: k
row 9: (k2tog, k4)x3 (15)
row 10: k
row 11: (k2tog, k3)x3 (12)
row 12: k
row 13: (k2tog, k2)x3 (9)
row 14: (k2tog, k1)x3 (6)

I kept the 3.0mm for the Cascade 220 (stem and gills) and then switched to the 3.5 when using the Cushendale Mills for the cap. Added random duplicate stitches to the cap in the Cascade white and…voila!

I love the look of the chunky varigated Cushendale on the cap…wish I had all 3 colors in that yarn. It’s insanely strong and smells so lovely while you knit!
