mod: added a rest row of plain knit between the purl ridge and the start of the next pattern repeat. It was too tight and annoying to do the pattern into the purls.

mod: Dee wanted short socks so I only did three repeats after setting aside stitches on waste yarn for an afterthought heel.

mod: Dee decided she didn’t want ribbing since they’ll be shorter socks. Did the diagonal lace portion and then skipped the rib, and bound off as specified in the pattern.

notes for second sock: foot 1 - 3 repeats of the pattern + 4 rows = 7 inches needed before heel.
