Notes

I am loving the Tenzing!

What I have learned from this project so far:

  1. Picot cast-on
  2. How to line up eyelets so they look good with picots
  3. It’s a good thing to place stitch markers at every pattern repeat. It helps to count stitches every few rounds.
  4. Use a larger size tapestry needle than I might think to thread lifelines - less likely to catch the yarn.
  5. I can mostly get yarn maker recommended gauge with recommended needle size, and lace looks better when knitted at recommended gauge for the yarn.
  6. Change needle sizes to customize fit.

CO 105 with size 5s using picot cast-on, making a picot every 3 st. K one round, then worked (k2tog, k, yo) for one round, k two rounds then started pattern.

Switched to size 4s after working 1 full set of rounds so the cowl will have a light flare at the bottom which will make a nice fit.
