Notes

did my funky weird purl row 1st on the toe that I’ve done on the last couple pairs of socks and not sure that I’m in like with it for these. I’m not out of like enough to frog back and restart but probably won’t do it again.

Felici Sport, however… totally crushing on it still. It’s so soffffttttt and knits up in about half the time of fingering weight. (uh well, it IS about 1/2 thicker so of course, it does)

still deciding if there should be a pattern on the foot top and up the leg. I really like the look of Picnic without patterning but it’s more fun to have some lace. coin toss?

decided that the affair with the weird purl toe is over, frogged, restarted with a 12 stitch Judy’s Magic Cast on, increased to 52 total stitches.

started doing the Dainty Anklet’s lace pattern in Wendy J’s Toe-Up Socks for Every Body - there is NO way the chart in there is for the lace pattern show (pink socks). I need something visually simple though so going to keep going with it.

FINISHED! Decided that the picnic/walk in the park theme required anklets so after the heel turn, worked 3 rows of purls then a 6 row 1x1 rib with bobbles. Usually not a bobble fan but like how these came out.

The fit is perfect!
