Notes

CLADONIA + NEFERTEM = CLAFERTEM!

I started knitting this shawl as Cladonia, increasing and striping as instructed in the pattern, until there were 25 stitches between each of the stitch markers.

I then added the lace section from the Nefertem shawl pattern starting at “Set up for Border”. This means there are extra rows of stockinette stitch in the body of the (Nefertem) shawl as well as more repeats of the lotus lace section; making it a bigger shawl than the original Nefertem.

After blocking the shawl measures 46 inches long and is 22 inches wide.

Yum! A fun knit and another present ready for Christmas 2011! I’ve never been this organized.
