Interpolating between two sizes and a different gauge (16 sts = 4 in). A little math, but not that bad.
5/5/2012 - well, this is a slog of a knit. It’s going to take a long time to knit, but hopefully will be worth the effort.
5/14/2012 - I finished the lower body knit in one piece, and the upper back - which has taken just over 4 skeins. Looks like I’ll have enough yarn to knit 3/4 length sleeves. Onto the upper fronts!
5/27/2012 - the body is done, blocked, and it will fit, plus I have plenty of yarn of the sleeves, so I can make them whatever way I decide. At this point, I’d like to do them seamlessly top-down, will take a look at the projects that have done that. Whew!
8/25/2012 - Finally picked this project up after the Ravellenics. Using the Stash ‘n Stitch 3/4 sleeves as a basis (although changing up the stitch counts).
8/29/2012 - The sleeves are done and blocked. Now onto the neckband and button bands!
9/1/2012 - neckbands and button band done, sleeves seamed and set in. Needed to do a bit cricket along back neck to tighten things. Found great buttons at Joanne’s this morning, so will work on buttonhole band and weaving in ends tonight!
9/3/2012 - So close. The buttonhole band got done last night, and now the blocked sweater is drying. One complication, while I found wonderful buttons (and for only $2) I managed to place my button stash in a very safe place (meaning I can’t find it). So I’ll weave in ends tonight, and look for those backing buttons again. Sigh!
