Swatched on Size 7 needles, then soaked the swatched and dried in the dyer to damp, then laid flat. Came out really close to gauge!

Only expecting to use a little over 2 skeins, so trying to figure out how to alternate yarn skeins appropriately.

Seems like the 39.5 size is the right one, we shall see.

Finished the collar and started on the yoke, then realized half the collar was done on Size 7 needle, and the other half on Size 5. I’m just going to pretend that didn’t happen and that blocking will take care of this.

Knit successfully down to separation for body and arms. Adding 4 stitches to each underarm in the “gap” for a total of 8 stitches, will decrease down to 4 after knitting in pattern for an inch.

Decided to take the back lace all the way down. Used a tubular bindoff which looks good. Used 375 gr before starting the sleeves.

One sleeve done. I ended up with 65 stitches at the divide, so I decreased more quickly to the 44 stitches for the pattern size, and after the 1x1 ribbing I did a tubular bind-off.

Now to finish the other sleeve so I can take it on my trip on Sunday!

Completed! This is a roomy sweater but it follows my shape well. The loose gauge with Yowza is working very well, and the lightness makes it not be draggy/baggy.
