Pattern:
CO 52 stitches and join in the round.
Work in 2x2 ribbing for 1 inch.
Continue in stockinette until desired length from cuff to bottom of thumb.
Gusset:
1: K13, PM, M1L, K1, M1R, PM, Knit to end of round.
2: Knit around, slipping stitch markers.
Continue in the manner, increasing after and just before stitch markers until you have 18-20 stitches depending on how tight you like your thumbs. Finish with a round two.
Knit to marker, remove marker, place stitches inside the market on waste yarn, remove marker. CO 2 stitches and join back in the round.
Continue in Stockinette until 1 inch short of total desired length.
Work 1 inch 2x2 ribbing.
Bind off using your preferred stretchy bind off method.
Thumb:
Place stitches from waste yarn on DPNs. Join in the round
Knit 3 rounds stockinette.
Knit 5 rounds 2x2 ribbing
Bind off with stretchy bind off method.
Weave in Ends!
