Despite reading that this pattern runs small, mine was an enormous horrid blob. I had to rework it with fewer stitches. (I liked the drape of it with my needle size so I didn’t want to size down.) At least it was a fast knit so I didn’t mind reknitting it.

CO 66 sts.
In rows 11, 13,15, 17, only decreased one stitch at the end of each row instead of 2.
Skipped rows 29-30.

Also skipped row 9 in the crown shaping.

I added braids off the earflaps instead of tassels.

This yarn stinks. I didn’t realize it frays so horribly. It wasn’t the best choice for a hat with tassels - I had to knot the end of every single strand off the braid. I just hope it stays knotted.

Apart from the yarn choice, I like how the hat came out.
