I wanted to buy this book from the very first moment I laid my eyes on it, but it was too expensive to get it from Japan. Last year that book was published in China, so I’ve made an order from dangdang.com and few months later (no air mail option, so it took almost 3 months from China to Italy) it was finally mine … for less than 3 euro!!!

The book is filled with beautiful patterns and I couldn’t decide which one to do the first. After knitting few swatches my choice for this yarn is pattern n° 009.

Feb 14 - after finishing with waist shaping I had to try it to see how it fits … I like it so far :-)

Mar 05 - frogging day! After trying on one sleeve I’ve found out that my gauge in round is much tighter than knitted as flat, therefore after frogging it I am starting again and this time I’m knitting flat damn sleeve!

About this yarn - for only 1 euro/50 gr skein I can’t complain .. .very soft after washing, even too soft for my taste, but splits terribly and it wasn’t possible to join it with felting method and I hate knots on the back. It is 100% wool but it’s not itchy at all.

Note for myself: put on a bra next time when taking photos of finished project
