My first afghan block!

2/5/12 ok, made a second trial at making 1 stitch into 5. I think I got it, but it is leaving a little gap underneath.

2/8: That went fast! and I learned how to make 1 into 5. cute result. my daughter loves this block. (hopefully she will let me sew it into the afghan with the others when they are completed.
