Initially I planed to knit Heliocentrism by MiaR (see here) with black/white stripes but the yarn didn’t knit up with the lace pattern at the border, even after blocking it was all curly. So I frogged the border section and added a few garter stitch rows.

I really like the colors (I’m a big fan of stripes) and the yarn has a very nice drape in stockinette!

Here some notes of the construction:

• CO 9st with garter tab

• RS rows: k3, M1R … M1L, center st, M1R … M1L, k3

• WS rows: purl

• alternate two colors every 4 rows

• 6 row-stripe with pumkin color

• simple garter st border (~26 rows)
