Wow, this was such a fast, smooth and addictive knit and turned into an amazing shawl. Great pattern from Gudrun, very well written. I feel like knitting the next one right away!
My second project with Jade Sapphire’s 2ply Cashmere. Amazing yarn. Has some variations in the redish color. Pictures 3 & 4 show the truest color.

04/05: restarted with 3mm (US 2 1/2) needle

17/04: finished garter st body and started lace border. I don’t like my big sloppy YOs and loose garter stitch body. Frogged.

Notes:

• For a larger/smaller version add/subtract a multiple of 24 rows to garter stitch body

• YO-loops of garter st body don’t have to be that loose

• Knit 4 YO’s on last knit row, before knitting on the border

• If I knit this again I would go up a needle size for the lace section; the garter stitch body has much more ease compared to the lace. To block the lace section properly I placed wires just underneath the garter body and at the lower lace edge
