02/24: started in a pumkin colorway (1 skein, 400m); knitted body and started roman lace. Figured out that yardage wouldn’t be enough, frogged.

03/14: second try in blue-grey colorway of which I have two skeins. The label says it’s pure merino but to me it seems to be a merino-silk blend.

Thanks to notes of other ravelers I plan to modify my second Henslowe:

• knit garter st body with a few more rows (roman lace will need an even number of stitches; I think I did smth like 60 rows / YO’s)

• Do YO’s loosely

• knit first row of picked uped stitches LOOSELY so that fabric has more ease lengthwise

• adding 3 st at each side for each roman lace repeat to make edges more pointy & align with BO side (I increased on row 7 of roman lace)

• knit 5 roman lace repeats

• picot BO will need a number of stitches divisible by 2
