Notes

First couple of pairs of toe-up socks for me. I love, love, love the simplicity and ease of this pattern. Magic cast-on is just brilliant. And the little picot edging is so sweet.

Sophy’s socks:
Size 6”, knitted to 4.5” before starting gusset. Remaining sock as written. Used 30g/142 metres.

Emily’s socks:
Size 6”, knitted to 5” before starting gusset. Extra decreases for ankle (to 44sts). Knitted 1”, then 1” of twisted rib. Used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off. Used 30g/142 metres.

For both socks I used German Short-rows.

First six photos are Sophy’s socks.
