Yarn Over Cable pg43 from Sensational Knit Socks

I have 4 total extra stitches, two on each side of the sock. So I will need to either reduce stitches after the heel or add one. This works out well so the top of the sock is framed by a knit stitch on each side.

Using the Red for the toes and heels. Started the lavender after I finished the toe increases. Did two rows of lavender before I started the pattern.

Must have messed up on the sock. I ended up with 58 sts. I must have not done a yarn over when I should have. I’ve added 6 more stitches back then did the heel but it was too short.

So heel frogged and I’m going to increase more stitches and add some length before I start the heel, again.

I’ll go up to 72 sts. An add two more pattern repeats before I start the heel?
