I only recently came across this pattern and had no idea it was so venerable and had been made so many times. My FO is #1201!! Far, far from the first. ;D

This pattern was perfect - I didn’t see any mistakes, none of the instructions were in the least unclear or misleading, and all the numbers worked. I was not fond of the very long purl rows in the lace section, but I got thru them easily enough. This was not a fast knit - I used up a whole 7 oz/ 378yds skein of Joann’s Sincerely worsted wt acrylic. I was surprised since the pattern didn’t call for that much yarn. No matter - the color is gorgeous and the shawlette turned out fine. It needs blocking, but my iron has been loaned out so I haven’t any means to beat it into shape. :)
