Getting these patterns and charts set up in KnitCompanion was an all-night ordeal. I guess the charts are pretty low quality and I had all kinds of problems getting KC to read the charts and keep all the rows and columns of stitches intact. There are 9 small cloths in the collection, so now that I’ve gotten all the charts set up and ready to go I can motor thru the cloths themselves. I used LB Martha Stewart Hemp for this first cloth. It’s a rather thick DK blend that has a bajillion ply and is terminally splitty. After staring at the computer and iPad screens all night I could barely focus on the pattern to knit. My cloth is quite a bit taller than wide, but once it’s wet it won’t matter.

I bought quite a bit of this hemp blend yarn when it was on clearance at Lion Brand. I found most of it in a large bag when I was searching for my KP Dishie. The hand of the yarn is quite soft and drapeable, but I don’t recall how it washes. I’m not sure I’ve kept anything I’ve made from it.
