I think my potholder came out too big, but running it thru the washer and dryer should tighten it up and reduce its size. Very easy knit with cables to make it interesting. Potholders from this book look just like the washcloths, only they have another layer on the back to make them thick. This back layer can be either the same as the front, garter stitch to measure the same as the front or stockinette stitch to measure the same as the front. I chose to use Garter St for my back, but since garter st is wider than stockinette, I turned my back piece 90 deg to the front for a better fit.

I added this pattern to Rav, so my potholder is the first FO!
