I liked the look of this hat when I saw the Creativebug class, but was rather disappointed in the class itself. I had a hard time reading the pattern cuz of the way the grid was laid out. The class showed poor Norah knitting the same pattern repeat 5 times around, but not every row. She only showed and talked about the rows where there was a new cable cross, and she said nothing about any other thing in the pattern.

I got thru the hat OK but ran out of yarn so I had to leave out most of the plain rows in the crown decreases. :(

Plus, the hat used worsted wt yarn and 125 stitches for an adult hat! Sheesh. Too big and rather sloppy without being a slouch hat.

My hat was the 2nd project.
